You can then use the options on the My ‘Mac model name’ tab to select the folders on your Mac that should be synced to Google Drive. To check, click the Backup and sync icon in the menu bar, click More and Preferences. If a particular folder doesn’t sync from the cloud to your Mac or vice versa, you may have failed to specify Google Drive to sync it in the first place. If so, you have no other option than to contact the owner of the file or shared folder to obtain the necessary permissions. Google Drive shared files and folders may have restrictions that can prevent you from syncing changes made to them. Open the Apple menu and click Restart to restart your Mac. It seems like a simple thing to do, but a reboot can potentially fix the most common anomalies, including stuck Google Drive uploads and downloads. If the above fixes didn’t work, try restarting your Mac. Also, try to switch between the available Wi-Fi connections in cases where synchronization problems persist.
